Isn't it a federal offense in a some countries to kill beer?

RIP Betty Friedan

I didn't know her, but I loved her.

Summers in college I worked as a "camp counselor.":http://www.campnashoba.com

One week during the summer was "Decades Week." Each day is dedicated to a decade, and you dress in decade-appropriate costumes on that day. Most people wore poodle skirts, bell bottoms, Afros, etc.

I had "Feminism through the Ages Week". I went as Rosie the Riveter (bandanna), Simone de Beauvoir (beret), Betty Friedan (carried The Feminine Mystique), Gloria Steinem (giant glasses), and Naomi Wolf (red lipstick).

I am a feminist geek. But more people should be.
